Airports

“Flying will always inspire an element of adventure and discovery. Our challenge as designers is to find a balance in maintaining the appeal of flight yet keeping a sustainable future in mind.”

We are well placed to design, advise and develop all aspects of an early planning stage for an airport development.

Due to our collaborative approach we provide an integrated solution using BIM principals when required. Prior to setting up Mark Physsas Architects, Mark Physsas worked on a number of successful feasibilities and masterplans which led to the construction of new airport developments including Manchester Airport masterplan, Dublin Airport T2, London Gatwick North Terminal redevelopment.

Our designs are integrated to optimise solutions from the onset.

We have designed numerous airport facilities from new build, refurbishments, reconfigurations and fit-outs, some within live airport environments. Our strength lies in managing multi-disciplinary teams to  develop a structured delivery, ensuring key milestones are met.

To do this we use our collaborative design approach of joint planning, problem solving and performance measurement to ensure the flow of information throughout the design and construction process. We leverage our skills and resource to meet the demand of the project.
